We have a reason to celebrate life every day. We must constantly remind ourselves that someone somewhere didn’t get the blessing to wake up and experience another day. Sometimes we get in the habit of taking the little things in life for granted.
As time passes us by, we regrettably come to realize that the small things are actually big things. Think of Birthdays, where you grab your phone and text someone you haven’t heard from in a while just to wish them a happy birthday and to let them know you are thinking about them.
Why not do that every day?
Think of Mothers Day, where we take time out of our day to acknowledge some of the most important women in our lives, our mothers. Why not do that every day? Think of a funeral, where everyone gathers around grieving the loss of a dear friend or loved one, to finally understand that life really is extremely precious and that we must live it to the fullest. Why not do that every day?
Celebrating life isn’t about partying every weekend and adopting the YOLO (you only live once mentality) as so many young children these days interpret it. Celebrating life is about living in the present, creating something that will go on to live much longer than you do, and following your passion.

Is there something that you are worrying about today? Worry is an absolute disaster that prevents us from becoming the best version of ourselves and living a happy, joyful, and blissful life.
Worry not only causes anxiety and fear, but strips us completely of our peace and joy. Not only does it strip us of our peace and joy, but it sends men and women to the graveyard prematurely. Yes, there are people who literally worry themselves to death. Death is obviously the extreme case, but to just know that worry kills people should provide us with enough evidence that worry serves no beneficial purpose in our lives.
When we worry, we can’t sleep. We aren’t productive. We aren’t eating healthy. We let life simply pass us by while we are neglecting what’s important.
Decide today to put an end to all of the worry in your life. The next time you feel yourself worrying over something, think of a past accomplishment, count your blessings, or simply just smile!
Don’t you dare let worry get the best of you. As you focus on your strengths and continually count your blessings, you’ll drive out worry and welcome in peace and joy.
So many people today are unfortunately just surviving instead of thriving. They have a “just get by” type of mentality every minute of every day. More than likely they have forgotten who they truly are and have settled for second best without even knowing it.
One of the biggest regrets we will ever have at the end of our lives will be living in survival mode. Living in survival mode prohibits us from living life to the absolute fullest. If you feel you have been surviving as of late instead of thriving, let today be the turning point in your life where you turn it all around.
It all starts with a decision.
I strongly believe that one of the core reasons why so many get accustomed to living a life of survival instead of a life that is thriving is because they lost their faith somewhere along the way. They let their doubts pile up and corrupt their thinking. They set out on a new adventure or set a new goal, but immediately after doing so the doubts took over.
It doesn’t just happen to you. It happens to all of us. The only difference is that there are those who had enough with the doubts controlling their life and causing them to live in survival mode.
One of the easiest ways to put an end to the doubts completely taking over is to speak favor over your life. Once you hear the words, “I can’t do this” run through your head, quickly shout out, “Yes I can. I can do this and I will do this.”
Have so much faith that you begin to doubt your doubts. Once you do, you will thrive instead of just survive.
Just because your back is up against the wall, the disappointments begin to pile up, and others begin to doubt you, don’t give up.
There will be plenty of times throughout the day, month, and year ahead where it will feel like you are at a very huge and discouraging disadvantage. That’s life. Instead of falling victim to the harsh realities of life, activate the fighter in you. The warrior like resolve that is placed in each and every one of us.
Those who are the best at what they do, you know, the ones who break records, leave legacies, and change the world, aren’t always the smartest or most gifted people in the world. Those who achieve such extraordinary success in their life activated the fighter in them, the warrior like resolve that keeps them persisting over and over again.
Your level of commitment to be great is what matters most. And when your commitment to be great is where it needs to be, you stop worrying about where you are and begin to focus on moving forward each day, even if it’s not by much.
Don’t give up. Activate the fighter in you.
Forget all of the problems.
Forget all of the violence.
Forget all of the disappointment.
Forget all of the hate.
Forget all of the doubt.
For a brief moment, take your mind completely off all of the negativity. Focus on all of the positive and promising possibilities instead. Remind yourself of how much you are capable of doing in this lifetime.
And if you can’t see all of the wonderful possibilities for your life, then start speaking them into existence. Plant the seeds now!
All too often, worry and anxiety creep in and steal our joy and power. We forget how powerful we really are.
That’s why it’s very important to turn your attention away from that mess. Instead, remind yourself of all the blessings in your life. The possibilities for your future.
Where we direct our focus is the direction our life will move. If we continue to focus on everything that is going wrong, that’s exactly where our life will head. But when we choose to look at the blessings, more good will come our way.
